A bit of crafting...

...at last LOL

Now the footy is over for England I thought it was time I got some crafting done and posted.

This card has been made at the request of a colleague - she wanted a 50th Birthday card that was a little different.

As gold is the colour normally associated with "50" I used some gold hammered card and some cream hammered card to mat & layer on a 6x6 white base card.

I went for an easel style card as they seem to be so popular at the moment and to be honest, it was a style I hadn't tried before.

A bit of playing with one of my Martha Stewart 'round the page' punch sets. Some paper blooms with pink brad centres. A gold peel-off or two (sorry Lucy, it had to be done LOL) and there we have it.
This slightly closer pic shows the detail a little more.

I might have a go at a few more cards like this and try out some different colour-ways...we shall see...think I need to have a sit down and play session.........

That's really pretty, even with peel offs on it ;-). I still haven't invested in any btw!!

This is a gorgeous card, Toni! I love the gold and cream, delicious! The MS punched border is really striking too. Hope your colleague liked it!
