A very Happy Birthday...

...to Toni-Leeann Fox :)

Toni is part of our Crazy Chatterboxes Team over on UKS and today is her birthday. Trying to ensure that recent problems with the postal services didn't prevent her from getting her card and prezzie I posted them at the weekend and guess what - they arrived early.

Toni loves penguins so that is what I used on her card (not easy finding a pic of them that isn't Christmassy/wintery, LOL). I thought the baby penguins were cute...........

Anyway, here it is :o) based on an idea for a mini scrap book by Pencillines that was one of the classes in last summer's cybercrop on UKS.

Might even sort out some new PJs...but mustn't go too mad, LOL, as I will need some cash for stash. Good job Ally Pally is beforehand - hope to pick up a few bargains there that will come in handy.

Well, not much of one LOL. DH forgot **forgot, perleeease, with all the hype there has been** so no, I didn't get a card - or flowers - or chocies...in fact, I got NUFFINK!!! apart from a text message saying "thanks 4 the card x". S'pose that was sumfink.............LOL

The cake was super scrummy too (remembered the extra 'o' LOL).

I have been spending far to much time over on UKScrappers chatting and not enough time on here **holds head in shame**

I have been crafting, honest .......

My BIA has been in action again and I made the above mini album as a birthday gift - a friend's teenage daughter saw it and asked if I would show her how to make one.

So, last Wednesday my lounge carpet looked like a stash explosion :o) but two teenage girls spent just over two hours putting together a couple of albums - unfortunately, I didn't take any pics but hopefully when the girls have put their photos in they will show me and I can take some piccies....

This coming week is Valentine's Day (Thursday) so thought I'd better take advantage of DH being on nights so that I could get his card done. It's really hard doing this sort of a card for a fella without going to mushy (LOL) think I managed to keep it fairly "blokey". Just some plain black card with white lettering (cut using my other new toy - my Cricut) and some K&Co card heart shapes from the Smitten range. Hope he likes it...

Although not really into 'pink' I do rather like the Smitten papers and embellies (the mini album used both and loads of pink bazzill). Obviously with Valentine's Day approaching there is a lot of 'lovey' type stuff available in the craft shops but I'm really quite impressed that it is not too over the top.
