What colour are your eyes...

...mine are blue-grey.

Week 35 over at "Less is More" is a colour challenge and the requirement is that the main colour on the card is the colour of your eyes...not just a hint...full and obvious.
I've used Bailey and Ribbon again (Sew Many Challenges freebie) - isn't he just soooooooooo cute.
All the colouring is with Copic pens.

I've used some blue-grey organza ribbon tied arround the card.

...was a super freebie image over at "Sew Many Challenges".

As they were kind enough to provide the digi image I thought I would use it for their latest challenge.
It is also very apt as we are in October which is known here in the UK for it's Brest Cancer fund raising events. Many of our high street stores stock ranges of goods that are suitably maked to highlight the fact that if you purchase that item they will donate a % to the charity - ASDA currently has a variety of food stuffs; spreads in pink tubs, chocolate in pink wrappers, snacks in pink bags and they also have a variety of wellies...all in pretty pink. I've stuck with pink as the colour scheme for this card - more PP scraps from my stash.

Charm-ing...

Over at "Winter Wonderland" they want to see a charm/charms on a Christmas Card and over at "CHNC" their week 40 challenge wants a Christmas card for a male.

I decided to steer clear of lots of embellies or cutesie images and came up with this...
The base card is a Papermania Christmas green A6 card blank. The background PP is from my off-cut box as is the small square of red miri-card. The satin ribbon with the music print has a wired edge and was purchased from my local craft store.
The sentiment is a digi from Sentiments4You (by Lynne Salmon) and the charm was a from a mixed bag that I've had for a while.

Fingers crossed I can post this and sort the links out without Blogger throwing another hissy fit - it has not been playing at all nice the last couple of days and everything is taking soooooooooooooooo very long to do.....................

For the Girls...

...a cutie image with a button - or three LOL

Challenge #33 at "The Paper Shelter" askes for something for the girls and I thought what better than a cute little 'pud-tat' supping a glass of champers. The image was a "LOTV" freebie that came with Papercraft Inspirations a couple of months ago so this is also suitable for challenge 114 that they have set.
This card has actually made use of a couple of freebies - the image (Papercraft Inspirations) and the PPs which are from a Craftwork cards paper stack (Vintage Rose) that also came free with a magazine.
The image has been coloured using Copic & Flexmarker pens.
The LOTV challenge is themed 'Button it!' so I've used some buttons to tone with the image.

So there you go - two for the price of one...........................

I'm getting rather grumpy...

...at the way Blogger is still playing up when I try to leave comments.

I have seen some lovely bits & pieces over the last few days but I'm getting very frustrated about sitting typing a comment only to have it disappear into 'heaven knows where'...

It's not even as if it is the same blogs all the time so you can't be sure until you have hit the post button and it just disappears.

I thought I would share a lovely creation over at the "Crafty Elf" site as my very creative friend has found something super to put on her Christmas cards - do hop over there and have a look..........

Get Inspired...

...with the help of a sketch and a photo.

Challenge #17 over at "TOMIC" has provided this sketch for this week's challenge...
However, in addition to the sketch they want folk to use this photo as inspiration...
I must admit, I was struggling with this one.
I couldn't think of how I was going to use the two - the photo was saying 'white', 'distressed'...so that is what I eventually went with.
The base card is smooth white CS that has had the edges inked with Ranger Distressed Ink in frayed burlap. I turned the sketch on its side and used the card in 'tent-fold' position.
All the edges of the various matts have been inked with frayed burlap and just a small spray of mimosa in a toning colour attached.
The base matt was punched using a Martha Stewart 'Round the Page' set in a heart design.
The Magnolia stamp used is 'Sisters' and this has been coloured using a limited range of Copic pens in pale browns.

Hair: E40, E41. E43
Dress: W0, W1, W2, W3

I haven't used any PPs on this card it is all white CS that has been ink distressed. Hope you like it...............................

Christmas Cards...

...in September.

Challenge #62 over at "KKKG" asked to see Christmas cards to coincide with the Kenny K Christmas release of images. I don't have any of the new release so thought this image would fit the bill.
The background is a piece of Kanban scenic card.
My image is coloured using Copics in traditional Christmas colours.
I used Glitter Snow Writer to create a bit of texture to the background.
As well as the texture it also provides a bit of subtle sparkle.

I love to receive comments but I know Blogger is being a pain for many folk (it is certainly causing me problems when I visit some blogs) so if you have visited but Blogger won't let you comment I hope you enjoyed your visit and do come back soon...............................
