Okay, I know I had them...

...loads of Vegas photos, but can I find them - nope!!!!

I have located the pic that was taken on one of the 'rides' but all the general pics of the "lads week in Vegas" no I just can't find them. They are not in the photo box and they don't appear to be in the study.

Now I have to decide...do I chose some other pics to put on my Artbase LOs or do I go hunting...I'll have to give that one some thought LOL..................

Month two...

...of Shimelle's "Scrap your day".

This is the blog photo that she has provided this month (remember the hand from April?).

There was homework on the 23rd - to take pics of an object in different places to help identify the best light sources for your pics.

The weather is really horrid - very heavy rain, but at least that provides a different 'view through a window' from last month.

The page prompt provides for a LO containing around 24 photos - loads of piccies LOL........

Artbase crop part...

---TWO :o)

Just for Eleni (LOL).

These are the two double LOs that I did at the Artbase crop last weekend - as you can see, they are still waiting for photos :o(

I've decided that I will use some of DHs lads in Vegas photos but there are loads so I need to make my final choice and resize them for the LOs.

Look out for Artbase crop part THREE...LOL....................................

Missed it...

...the season finale of CSI.

In fact, I hadn't realised it was the finale :o( ... I fell asleep and just caught the last five mins or so. The ending was a shock and cos I'd missed most of it left me rather confused.

Think the wednesday showing was the repeat so looks like I'll probably have to catch it online.

For any other CSI fans out there, here's a pic I'm sure you'll love.....

Sorry I haven't been arround...

...to tell you about all the changes over on UKS.

Main reason is that I'm still trying to get to grips with all the changes myself LOL.

We now have things called Social Groups where we can chat and we can ask folk if they will be our friends...oooooooo and alsorts :o)

Best bit of all though is being able to personalise your profile page. I have had great fun trying out different colours and finally sussed how to set pics as backgrounds (amazing how easy things can be if you read the instructions LOL). I rather like the colour scheme that I have arrived at but I'm torn..........I don't want to lose the settings I have at the moment - well - not for a few days anyway............................

Artbase crop kit...

...which one did I choose?

I went with the darker one and once I've sorted out photos I'll post some pics :o)

But...I have to own-up, I loved the other colourway so much I bought one of those too..........

At last it is...

...done.

I bought myself an Amy Butler tote last year and ever since I have been meaning to make a matching notebook - well here it is - done at last...............

Tomorrow...

...I will be doing one of these kits.

I still can't decide which I prefer :o( I could probably find photos for the darker more neutral one but I love the papers of the bright one...decisions, decisions.

Oh well, you'll find out tomorrow evening what I decided......................

Do you ever...

...have one of those days?
You know...wake up and the weather is grotty...kettle takes for ever to boil (not that the fact you forgot to turn it on has any thing to do with it LOL)...and something you wanted to buy had sold out :o(
Well that is how my day started.
Although it is the Artbase crop tomorrow I needed to collect a couple of bits for a friend and there was a lovely K&Co paper stack that I wanted to get. I logged on the website to check if there were any other goodies that Emma had added to the site and - HORROR - the paper stack wasn't showing...how could this be, they only came in a couple of days ago.
When I got to the shop I jokingly said to Caroline & Rachel "how could you sell all the Blue Awning stacks before I had a chance to get one" Rachel checked and there was one left - LUCKY, LUCKY me c",)

The colours are super and sooooooooooo lush. Don't expect to see anything made from this for some time to come - this paper will require some serious stroking..................LOL

I really do...

...love my BIA.

I needed to make a little thank you gift for a friend at work and this was so quick and easy to make :o)
My BIA has to be one of the best purchases I have made in a long time...and to think I wasn't going to get one until I had the chance to play with one at the Artbase 'open house' just before Christmas. Thank you Emma, this piece of equipment certainly gets used.................

You know...

...at this rate, folk might start to think I actually know how to do this 'bloggy' stuff LOL

I am amazing myself with these 'linky' things and stuff.

To think, when I started this blog I couldn't even work out how to post a pic within a post - I'd worked out how to add a pic as a page element but in a post...........no way jose'

I have to say that most of this techie stuff is thanks to things I've picked up over on UKS...only problem is, I spend faaaaaaaaaar too much time on the site when really I could / should be crafting c",) Never mind, at least the ol blog is benefiting from all this attention whilst I try out new bits and pieces LOL..................

Ummmmmm...

...not sure about this one for DH. Paul and Calm are not two words that I would normally put together LOL

Hot, sunny and...

...so it must be "Pimms o'clock" LOL.
It has been glorious here all day - perhaps a little too hot at times but we shouldn't complain.
DH cut the grass back and front yesterday so that was something I didn't have to worry about. I've been thinking about doing some tubs and hanging baskets this year (haven't done any for ages - not since the ones I put out the front got pinched...grrrrrrrrr). If I do sort something out they will only be in the back garden - I refuse to provide the yobs round here with more stuff to pinch and destroy.
Weather is supposed to stay nice at least until Thursday...as always, I will take each day as it comes cos the weather men are not reknowned for 'getting it right' LOL.
DH still says I look too pale and pasty...I say I'm 'pale and interesting' lol and I don't have to worry about leathery skin - would be nice to get a bit of colour though.
I've managed a week of going to work without wearing a jacket :o) hopefully our summer isn't going to come to an end too soon....................

Lots and lots of...

...super lush ribbons.

This was the lovely bundle of American Crafts ribbons that I won for my Mystery Kit entry for the UKS cybercrop last month. The prize was provided by the lovely folk at Crop 'til you Drop.

I do love a bit of ribbon c",) so this srummy lot will keep me going for...?...well, a little while, at least............LOL..................

Oh how I love...

...coffee. Or to be more accurate, a Starbucks latte with all the added bits LOL
Unfortunately, I'm at home at the moment so no Starbucks :o( and I don't have any cream so the pic above is but a dream...still, looking on the bright side - at least this virtual coffee can't add to the inches.....LOL................

I'm suffering...

...post cybercrop withdrawal symptoms.

Last weekend was so hectic, and the build up to it chatty and rather manic...but now, nothing :o(

It all seems rather flat at the moment - not that I could cope with a CC every weekend but it seems ages before I have anything to look forward to. Well, two weeks actually before the next Artbase Sunday crop but I'm sure you know what I mean.

April was such a busy month - Ally Pally - Artbase crop - Cybercrop - friend's retirement do.

May seems boring by comparison and so far the weather isn't helping.

A bit of motivation - that's what I need LOL. I'll go and grab a coffee and give it some thought........

Well...

...would you believe it!

There's me, little miss can't do techie PC thingies and what have I managed to do...I have a tickertape type banner runner across the bottom of my blog - is that cool, or what LOL

You never know, I might just get the hang of this blogging stuff afterall...........................
