Something is wrong...

...with the last post.

I've no idea what is going on but the gap at the top of the last post to my blog seems to be getting bigger and I can't make it any smaller >:o

The more I try to edit and amend the post the worse things seem to get...

What ever the problem is I hope it clears - fingers crossed, this post seems to be okay but I'm not going to tempt fate, so, bye for now.............

Tagged...

...I'm it !!!

Yep, I've been tagged by Chrissie, she of "Life is scrap" fame (see link on right - although it's not working properly you can get to her blog...note to self: really must sort out that link some time sooooooooooooon. lol).

So, here we go then, the rule are (yes, sorry there are rules folks) list 7 random facts/habits about yourself. Then choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names (don't forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog - they also need to write the rules in their answer too).

7 RANDOM facts/habits...

1) Cutlery has its own drawer to live in in my house and each type of cutlery has its own little space. Hate it when items are put back in the wrong place and hate it even more if the handles don't point the same way in each little space :o( Obsessive, or what?

2) Things that should live in the fridge should not be left on the worktop (butter, marge, cheese etc) this really winds me up and I have to put them away before I can start on anything (DH is usually the culprit - he doesn't see the point of putting these things back juuuuuuuust in case he wants some more).

3) Love scented candles especially Christmassy smells. I'd be happy have the house smelling of Christmas all year long. :o)

4) Chrissie mentioned food in her "7" and this made me think about foods that I just can't put together. Love bananas, love bread & butter - banana sandwich...yuk!!! no way 'Jose' just the thought has me grabbing for the bucket...

5) Can't bear sticky or oily hands. Apparently, this is something I've had a thing about since being kneehigh to a grasshopper. I am not a compulsive 'handwasher' but there is no way I can relax on the beach after putting on the sun lotion/oil if it is still on my hands. Gotta have a good supply of wetwipes for these occasions.

6) Love, love, love sunsets. Really like the point when it is dark enough for everything to be in silhouette so that the colours in the sky make a wonderful background.

7) Swing music - Sinatra, Martin, Davis Jnr type stuff...Just love this type of music for humming along to and although much tooooooo young to remember the original releases, I do know most of the words...lol

Well, that's 7 random pieces of info about me, now I've got to come up with 7 folk to tag...

I'm tagging: - Nicola, Sharon, Missy, Kelly, Caroline, Myriam, Kristy (in the hope that she sorts out setting up a blog...)

Have fun folks...

(Not sure what happened with the big gap at the top but just can't get rid of it...)

Fellas say the...

...sweetest (???) things.........................not!

After taking me to the Dr on Monday and bringing me home, DH had to dash down to the boat.

Monday & Tuesday consisted of a regular exchange of thoughtful text messages (no voice - remember) and up-dates on what was happening with the boat. From my point of view both days passed in a haze of coughing, sneezing, and snoozing - and generally feeling grotty :o(.

Soooooooo, imagine finally getting off to sleep only to be awakened at around 6am this morning with the cheerful comment..."boy you look rough" - just what a girl wants to hear when she's not feeling her best.

Love'im, he drove home in the early hours to miss the traffic and so as not to be away another day. 10 out of 10 for thought but I think he still needs a little work on the helpful comments...

Feeling...

...yuk!!!

The dreaded virus is back - DH thinks it's great as this time I have lost my voice and as he soooo sweetly said to the Dr this morning, "at least she can't nag me at the moment..." 'as if! - shrugging shoulders - can't possibly be referring to me...'

Should have been a great weekend - Ally Pally & Artbase crop - but didn't feel too great. Still, got some lovely goodies at AP and once I feel more like me I'll be digging them out and possibly have a play...

Mum treated me to a workshop at AP and it was a board book made with super Rusty Pickle Pashmina papers. Amazing what you can get done in an hour & a half... (also amazing how much ink you can get all over your hands when you don't have time to let it dry, lol).

This month's Artbase project was the lovely Bo Bunny kit using the Garden Chic papers and the new 9x9 binder and tabbed pages.Absolutely beeeeeuteeeeeeeeful, or it will be when I get it finished :o), kinda ran out of steam (and voice) as the day went on but what I did get done is looking real good...

The sofa beckons so I'm off for a bit of a snooze............

Busy, busy, busy...

...a very busy week - craftwise :o)

Diane is better so it was round to her tonight for a scrap & chat session. Nearly finished the double LO from Nicola's last crop (should have been a bit more 'scrap' and perhaps a little less 'chat' ????).

Thursday is Nicola's crop night and she has just posted the LO - another double page and really nice colours but not sure what photos to use...have to have a good think about that one!

Saturday I'm taking Mum to Ali Pally to the Big Stamping & Scrapbooking show. Can't wait to see all the new stuff that is likely to be on show. Always difficult to resist those items that you might not see in your local stores for a while - well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it, lol.

Sunday is the April Artbase crop. A super Bo Bunny binder is again the project for the day but this time it's one of the new larger size ones and oooooooooooo such lovely papers. No idea what so ever about photos for the project, I'll just have to 'wing-it' as usual and sort pics out later (I will, honest...last month's got finished, :op nerrr!!!).

Now, where did I put those pics of........................

Ooooooooooooooo...

...so not fair - I want one!

I remember seeing various postings on other blogs a while back when the first pics of this Scrapshed appeared on 2 Peas (see link to right). I think most of 'Blogdom' was in drool-mode...lol

Now it is even better...a porch - not fair :o(

12x28 feet of space and kitted out in a manner that most of us can only dream about...sighhhhhh.

Still, if I had something like this in my back garden just where would we put the sailing dinghy, the trailer, the spare cars, the garden shed, the garage..............................
