New toys...

...yep, Member's weekend has started.

I was very good - for me LOL

No impulse buys...everything was planned.
The new Flexmarkers from Letraset were my main 'intended buy' and I know the folk at Pinnacles have been sweating buckets that they would arrive in time for the weekend - they arrived yesterday...phew!!! There are some really lovely pale colours amongst this initial release and yes I have had a play with them already (colouring in the blocks on my colour chart) - the brush-type nib is lovely.
The current DoCrafts promotion has 6 sets of Papermainia Clear Christmas stamps - with the £2 off vouchers in the Creativity magazine plus the 30% off for members...well it would have been rude not to get them (the pick shows 4 sets - I have one set as part of the promotion Goodie Bag that DoCrafts have and the other set I wasn't terribly fussed about). They are beautiful stamps and a couple of them match the embossing folders that I already bought on launch day.
This Sarah K stamp from the Vintage Chic Collection is one that I've wanted for a while and the lovely folk at Pinnacles got this range in.

You will probably think this sad but...I particularly wanted this one as it is called "Antoinette and Bessa go for a walk". Now whilst my name is not Antoinette - Toni is a derivative and I thought that this was the closest I was ever likely to get to owning a stamp with my name...it helped that I rather liked the image and am looking forward to having a 'play'. That really does sound sad...**snigger**

I also booked myself onto the next "Tim Holtz Style" day that Andy will be running and as it is quite close to Christmas it will be something to look forward to.
