Big companies do listen...

...sometimes!

Two years ago, Starbucks introduced a reusable cup that looked like their standard paper cups. They were only £1 each so wanting to do my bit to reduce waste, I bought a couple and have been using them ever since. They were originally only available for a short period but last year they brought them back...
...and I added a couple more to the collection. One is always in my bag and friends & colleagues think it strange if I don't have a coffee in my hand LOL

Every year Starbucks introduce the 'red' cups in the run up to Christmas and it has been lovely to see the different designs that they have come up with. The design for Christmas 2013 was very pretty but I felt a bit 'left out' as I was using my 'reusable' cup. I looked on their website and the only reusable cup available was over £10 and only came in the Tall/small size. This did not make me a happy bunny so I emailed them (not really expecting a reply). I asked why couldn't they make some of the £1 cups in a Christmas design - surprisingly they answered. They said they had not thought of it but it was something that they would look into.

One year later...

The 'red' cups launched this week and guess what...Starbucks have produced a £1 reusable design for the Christmas period...
...it is quite 'stylised' and not overly Christmassy but it is a 'red' cup. Mine has already been christened with the first Gingerbread Latte of the season.

So folks, if you see a gap in the market for something...ask...if they don't know folk 'want' something, companies can't do anything about it.

Thank you Starbucks from one happy 'red cup' bunny.................................................................

Good for you, though I have to admit I would forget to put the cup in my purse and then have to buy one when I bought my coffee! LOL

Well done you and what a lovely design they came up with you. I'm impressed you use a reusable cup, that's so good, if I had access to a Starbucks each day, I'd certainly get one
