...photograph your cards?
Not being the best photographer in the world, I often struggle with getting a good picture of my makes. I've tried standing them on windowsills, cloth backgrounds, flat on the floor or even holding them but things still end up rather hit & miss.
Now I'm not saying that this item will improve things that much but I thought I'd give it a try as it was £4.99 (so not a huge outlay if it doesn't work)
This is the MDF card easel from Creative Expressions...
...which comes flat-packed ready for assembly. With just 3 pieces it isn't complicated and it slots together very easily.
The idea is probably that you can decorate this to suit your own taste but as it is intended to display a variety of cards and colours, it seems sensible to leave it 'bare'.
I haven't even glued the pieces together at this stage because it gives me the option to flat-pack it again between use. The slots are quite tight but not a problem so the whole thing is very stable even without being glued.
I'm not promising that my photos will be any better but at least the presentation may look a little better LOL.......................................................................

Looks good! But I normally photograph things flat on the floor in front of my patio doors...so good light...and then stand directly above so I photograph it straight down!! Don't do wonky!! LOL
Good luck with the easel!
I hope this works for you...I'm pretty hopeless with the camera, I have a couple of stands, but find a sheet of white paper behind usually helps a little....Also I use my phone now, as this is a much better camera and far easier to use! x
I'm hoping to make more cards this year and this looks like such a good idea
This looks like it would work, fingers crossed!
I lay my cards on a piece of white card on my craft desk near the window and then photoshop them to make sure they are straight and adjust lighting if necessary and add watermark. Look forward to seeing your pics
this is fabulous! i stand mine on a white doily on a white bookcase shelf, but then, i was NEVER a good photographer!!!
another day closer to spring!
hugs :)... and prayers for mom!
this is great- i forget to use one. I have a window with nice light ( when there is light!) or I might lay flat on some plain or pretty paper.
Really pretty easel and a great addition to your photography kit.
Ah that's cute, I find photographing my 12 x 12 layouts I place them on the laminate floor in front of the window (about 6 foot away to prevent glare), I've been taking photos on my phone recently and I've changed the size of the photos to 1:1 so I don't have to cut the photo down as 12 x 12 fits perfectly! It's taken me a while but makes life much easier!
Hope this works out well. I have a nice bright desk straight under a window and it seems to produce good reuts..but occassionally I forget and take a picture in the wrong light and place. It pays to take your time and get it right.
