What a bargain...

...reduced from £14.99 to £2.00.

If you are a knitter you will probably have come across the name 'Debbie Bliss'. She is a lady who has her own range of knitting yarns, patterns etc. - and obviously as you can see, books.

The Works stores seem to have been having quite a promotion on their Arts & Crafts products recently and this includes lots of craft books. When I saw this one...
...I just had to grab a copy and it didn't take me long to make a start LOL.

I do not have a dog but my Sister has a rescue dog - Lexi.

Lexi is now four years old and has been with my Sister for two years - she is a little sweetie but she does feel the cold so she has a variety of coats and jumpers to keep away the chill when the weather is damp or windy.

I think one of the reasons that this book caught my eye was because the dog on the front reminded me of Lexi. I'm not sure how many will actually get made but even if it is just the one that will be fine - knitting patterns alone are so expensive these days and it is not uncommon to end up paying more than I did for this book for just a single pattern.

I'm keeping this one fairly plain just so I can check the size. Let's hope Lexi lets me take some photos when it is done...she does tend to be a little camera shy......................................................

What a bargain...I hope we get to see some photos. We had some very similar to this pattern but in kit form at work over Christmas. They were so cute and very popular. x

Mmmmm may need a trip to the works, not for a knitting book but what a bargain but to see what's new.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product! I can't knit either. Same as the crochet. As a 70s lefthander they tried to teach me all these things in a right handed way and I think that was what put me off because it was all sort of backwards to me! Although I have ended up being a bit ambidextrous as a result! Jx

Oh isn't it fabulous when you find a bargain, I found two second hand books on holiday and thought I'd find them on Amazon for the same price when I got home, discovered I'd grabbed myself a real bargain as the two would have been £35 but I got them both for £9 - can't wait to see what you create with this book!

how nice is that! i think my dog needs a thunder jacket as she seems to be terrified of the winds - and believe me, it's been very windy lately. she hovers at my feet and doesn't leave my side. she hasn't eaten in 2 days either. oy vey! no clue why. seems it's all of a sudden. go figure.

my leg is feeling a bit better and no clue why. all the praying iv've been doing maybe? don't matter. i'll take it. i still think my doc should do an MRI but we'll see what she says. will keep you posted.

have a great week.

hugs :)
