Still colouring...

...this time with Distress markers.

I have to admit that my colouring with Distress markers does tend to be a bit hit & miss - I sometimes forget that they do not need to be too heavily coloured as the water-brush does a lot of the work.

On this occasion, I actually remembered my acrylic block and used it to lay down some of the colour to be picked up by the water-brush.

The image I had a play with this time was another Saturated Canary by Krista Smith...
...and you can see from the pens what size I printed out this digi.
Using a bit more restraint than usual, I managed to get a better result with the skin tones...
...and I'm very pleased with the way the hair and balloon turned out.

Beautiful - I always think...how do you do that and make it look so nice, I'm not sure my attempts would be so good :)

absolutely gorgeous. i don't even own distress markers. i have distressed stickles - which i find rather dull but i love my distress inks - go figure.

fall is still a way off for us but at least the heat and humidity is gone so i can open up the house. i LOVE fall.
