There are so many different mobile phones around these days and you do see a wide variety of phone cases. Some folk even decorate their phones with gems & stickers.

How about a quick & easy way to "Pimp" your phone that isn't permanent but can still make it "yours"...knit a Phone Sock.

If you are not sure where to start, Search Press have one of their "20 to Make" books (£4.99) with patterns in a variety of styles & yarns...

...I picked a basic pattern for Double Knit yarn that I could have a play around with...

...and came up with this sparkly little sock. I crocheted the two flowers for the front and layered them up to give a fun bit of decoration.

I've knitted a couple of these 'socks' for the fundraising. If you've got Autumn sales on the horizon for Brownies/Guides/Schools, why not get knitting and make a few of these. They can be decorated in so many ways and just think of those bits of yarn you can use up from your stash................................
