I have played...

...and had a wonderful time.

After a very busy day sorting out another 'New toy' which I'll tell you about later when I've had a chance to take some pics - I sat down to play with my Flexmarkers.

Now I have to say a very big 'thank you' to Jacqui of "Cats Whiskers" as she had already coloured this image with the new markers and she had very kindly listed all the colours she had used - pay her a visit as she has some lovely work over there for you to browse through.
So armed with Jacqui's list of colours, my Copics and my new Flexmarkers...I made myself comfy.
This little miss is just one of the new Nellie Snellen Christmas stamps that just happened to fall into my shopping basket the other week when I was over at Pinnacle crafts (if you love stamping do pay them a visit as they have so many new seasonal stamps in - you'll be spoilt for choice).
This is the result of my first 'play' with the Flexmarkers.

Now Jacqui listed some Copic shades that were obviously from the Sketch range and I only have the Ciao pens but I improvised and substituted and I still think it works (my little miss has darker hair than Jacqui's).

Now I need to think about how I'm going to use this image (shouldn't be too hard LOL) but I'd like to say I was very impressed with these pens...think I'll pop back later and give you a bit more detail about my thoughts. Must dash now - have a fab Sunday and I'll catch you all later................................
