Pink, White and Brown... the colour combo challenge over at "TOMIC" (the Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge).

It is the second challenge set by this new challenge site - you really should hop over there to have a look what everyone has been up to.

I decided I was going to 'go large' this time and the base card blank was 8.5 inches sq made from smooth white CS (290 gsm).
The PPs used are from My Minds Eye "Lost & Found" range...oh it was hard cutting into these PPs - they are the sort that you just want to sit and look at. I do have to admit to being very careful how I cut these PPs so that I still have a lot of the beautiful designs left LOL. The base layer on the card is embossed dotted bazzill in a creamy beige colour. All the edges are inked with a 'Frayed Burlap' Distressed Ink pad.
I managed to get some pretty blush pink roses from HobbyCraft and some brown mimosa sprays. I used up the last of my white crystal ribbon (must get some more) and combined it with some brown satin dot ribbon.
Those who visit from time to time will be aware that I often photograph my cards in the kitchen by the kettle as it is one of the best places when light levels are not too good. You can see from this photo that the card is a lot bigger than my usual creations (normally 5 or 6 inches sq).

I'm not a great fan of pink but I've always liked it combined with brown so I rather enjoyed this challenge...........................

You've done a great job with this Toni, and you're far, far braver than I - I'm panicking just thinking about how to fill 8.5" square!
