Shades of Brown for...

...the current "Less is More" challenge.

The week 18 challenge over on the Less is More site has a theme of MONOCHROME.

I decided to go with shades of brown for my card here...
The base card is a 6" sq Kraft card. I sliced a cream 5.75" sq card in half and used one half as the first matt. A bit of brown PP (from a pack of 300 doublesided sheets from Costco) forms the next matt and I trimed the other half of the cream card blank to form the top matt.

Onto the top matt I applied some Antique Linen Distress Ink and then stamped a John Byars stamp over the top using Rich Cocoa Memento ink. I used a couple of shades of brown from my Copic pens to just highlight a few bits of the image and there you have it..................................

This is lovely, this image is so nostalgic, I love it. Super card.
If you could link directly to you card, rather than your entire blog that would be great.
Thanks so much.
