...perhaps I spoke too soon.
I'm getting to grips with Windows 10.
I've found where all my photos/documents are.
I sorted out a new 'slideshow' for my desktop.
I can access my blog and go to the blogs of others.
I CAN'T get my photos to download from the memory card (grrrrrr).
Everything is telling me that my drive is working perfectly but it is not picking-up the contents of the memory card.
Ho-hum.
Perhaps I need to have another read through the "trouble-shooting" part of the system............................................................

My name is Toni Johnson and I am married, no kids but I did have a parakeet called Charlie (poor Charlie passed away 31/01/2010). Although I live in Essex I am not an 'Essex-girl', I was born in the East-end of London. I dabble in lots of crafts - love scrapbooking, card making, cross stitch, ceramic painting, knitting & crochet but working full-time I never seem to have enough time to do everything I want to.

It's so frustrating isn't it. I hope you get it sorted
I am watching with interest. Since buying my daughters laptop off her I've been prompted to download Windows 10. I hate the bloody laptop enough as it is (am SO saving up for a new desktop!) So if Windows 10 turns out to be even more of a pain than I am finding Windows 8 - I wont bother.
Oh, my gosh - I'm scared to upgrade! I'm using windows 8.something and it keeps telling me I can upgrade for free. I keep ignoring it. Always have problems and am afraid of losing everything! GOOD LUCK!
Too scared - will wait :)
OH no maybe I had better not update to windows 10 yet! Yikes!!!
