...Saturated Canary images but don't have that many.
I have one 'rubber' and a few 'digi'.
Quite some time ago I stopped buying the Complete Cardmaking magazine because it was one of the more expensive mags and I wasn't finding much of interest in it. However, fairly recently the DT over at Saturated Canary were posting creations using images from the free CD given with issue 56 - I had to treat myself.
Although I have been having fun with my "grown-up" colouring in, I haven't been doing what I call 'proper' colouring but the weather is warming up so it was in for a penny...
I printed off a selection of the SC images and set to with my Distress markers...
...the boots came out really well but I'm not a fan of these markers for faces/skintones. Overall, I was happy with the finished result so made a start on another...
...as a coffee addict, this one was a must. I used Distress markers again but this time...
...the Copics came out for the skin areas...
...and this was the finished image.
I'm on a bit of a mission to build up my collection of coloured images. I always had a good stock of completed images that I could go to for my card making but in 2011, I went challenge mad and completely wiped out my stock. With changes at work etc. I just haven't had the time to sit and replace them - things are gonna change.
Saturday was another lovely day (not quite as warm as Friday) and I was able to meet up with my friend Hilary for lunch. So nice to sit and chat/catch-up.
After lunch, Hilary went back to her parchment class and I sat in the sun for a bit more colouring. The results you can see above.....................................................................
