...of the year.
Just as those 'lovely' weather folk **rollseyes** announce that there could be more snow on the way - I finally make a start on using the snow pics that I already have LOL
Last night was the first crop of the year at Helen's (my local craft store). It was also the first of the 4-week sessions so we all had a goodie bag to work with - a selection of Best Creation Inc. PPS, some toning CS, white thickers, glitter card and BUTTONS!!! (we wont go there...chuckle).
I had some bits with me and a selection of punches & bling so I got stuck in.
This view of the church at the end of my road is one that I photograph fairly regularly - I love the way the sun appears through the trees.
One of the 'buttons' put to use (this one actually had a shank on it that I cut off) and a band of CS decorated with one of my EK Success border punches. Oh, and some flat back gems for 'bling-a-bility'. I also cut into the paper so as not to lose the pretty design along the bottom.
The edge of the photo was through the branches of a tree so I decided to add a bit of dimension & texture by adding some Martha Stewart fir punched pieces (white CS) and more bling.
Materials used:
1 sheet of Best Creation Inc PP
1/2 a piece of shaped dark blue bazzill
A 12" strip of punched card in pale blue
Large & medium silver flat back gems
1 tree shaped button
White CS punched fir branches
White Thickers alphas
Don't know if we will get any more snow here (pouring with rain at the moment) but I think I have enough 'snow pics' to scrap for a lifetime LOL.................
