Very quick, very easy.
I thought I would start with something basic just to get into the swing of things so this Mug Hug is knitted completely in Garter Stitch (Plain every row).
I have loads of DK yarn so I just grabbed a ball of random dyed stuff that had already been started on. A pair of 4mm needles (UK size 8 in old money) and I was away.
It looks quite cute and better still...no more burnt knuckles from trying to hold the mug and do half a dozen other things at the same time, LOL......................

That's so cuddly and cosy-looking! I wish I could knit but somehow I think it's probably beyond me now!

Those are really cute. They could be useful at a crop, too, when trying to tell which mugs were used by which people. Wish I could knit!
