Struggling...

...to get back into a routine - and from my blog hopping today, it would seem I'm not the only one.

Today was only my second day back at work but I'm feeling so tired. Probably a mix of 'winter blues' and the fact that my sleep pattern got really messed-up over the holiday because of not being very well. I haven't been sleeping well either because of worrying about not hearing the alarm or switching it off and ending up being late (this seems to be quite a common thing with a number of folk at the moment).

The feeling tired bit though is playing hell with my crafting - I was on a roll with my knitting over the weekend but have now come to a slow crawl...I am still knitting (honestly) but at a much slower pace and have taken a pic of my knitting basket to prove it LOL.
The ball of pink with the needles stuck in at the top is the tea cosy that I have started to match the cupcake hug. At my current speed it could take a while.......................

I suppose the good thing about shopwork is that you don't get that much time off at Christmas to get like that LOL

Know exactly how you feel! I started cross stitch and applique again from an old QVC kit but now seem to have come to halt!!! Hope you get back to it soon and lovely to hear from you again!

It took me ages to get back into the swing of things too. Going back to work after the Christmas/NY holidays seems to be the hardest! Hope you get your sleeping patterns sorted out soon. *hugs*

I hate it when my crafting suffers because I'm tired and sluggish - it doesn't seem to matter so much if the housework or anything else gets neglected! I have had a better day today, fingers crossed you have too!
