...despite the icy gale-force winds.
Here are the pics to prove it...
The colour is Autumn Red, the same colour I had used on the shed and fence along the side of the driveway.
I have only done the front fence as I think I will need to work up to the fencing along the side of the front garden - oh, and I don't think I'll be making a start on the 120ft of 6ft panels that run the length of the back garden any time soon. The 6 panels at the front have nearly done me in LOL
One big problem with living on a main road is that you get a lot of passers-by...who all have suggestions as to HOW you should be doing whatever you are doing.
"Much faster with a roller..." yep it probably would be but I don't have one because I get in too much of a mess with them.
"Not really the weather to be painting fences - bit windy" tell me about it...Autumn Red speckles is not a good look...but it wasn't windy when I started.
"You're doing a grand job there..." I'd painted all of two planks at the time.
I can honestly say that I've never been so glad to get something finished so that I could get inside in the warm and have a shower to get rid of all those 'attractive' new flecks & freckles.
Still, it's done - so that is one job off the 'to do' list.........................

Wow!! Well done!! I'd have a little rest and do some crafting before tackling the other panels. Well a long rest actually!!!
Congratulations for finishing. It would have taken me a month of Sundays to get that done lol.
Great to put a house to a name. :D It´s a lovely place. As neat and elegant as your pages and cards.
what a pretty home you have...and i do love a freshly painted fence :)
Well done! Your house is gorgeous and the newly painted fence is fantastic. Now you can just kick back and enjoy your handiwork. :D
Well done! That looks like a major task but you've completed it, that must be a good feeling!
Well done ... gold star for you :) you have such a pretty home.
Well done you! Painting of any sort is enough to have me running in the other direction from where the paint and brushes are!
Go stand under the cow girl!
