Coffee and Cake...

...I could sure do with some.

I decided to keep this card fairly clean & simple as the topper provides not only the image but a great sentiment too - "A balanced diet is...cake in one hand and coffee in the other".
Pearlised card cut to form an approx 6" sq. White CS cut with my Martha Stewart doily trim punch. Some coffe coloured ribbon and some amber coloured gems.
The topper is from Kanban - lovely image and great foiling. The card really doesn't need anything else.

I would like to say a very big thank you for the wonderful comments that were left after last night's incident with the fence - they were all very much appreciated.

The broken panel was a bit wobbly as it is now cracked down the middle. Luckily I still had some of the struts from my old ranch-style fence and have managed to wedge some behind the panel to give it a bit more stability (not very pretty from the garden side but it is doing what I intended). Whilst I was at it I had this bright idea to give the front panels a coat of stain to freshen them up...hummmmm, seemed like a good idea this morning.

I've completed one side of the gate (three 4hx6w panels) and managed one panel the otherside along with the gate posts...unfortunately it got a bit too windy to continue so fingers crossed I'll get the other two panels done in the morning.

Right now I'm wishing I hadn't had this wonderful idea as my neck, shoulder and back are killing me. Still, the fence is looking good LOL..............................

what a lovely card, and oohh I'm liking the sentiment :)

Glad you've got started on the fence, I know it seems a big job, but it will look lovely once it's done.

Lol! That sentiment is so funny. Loved the card. As I read from newest on in my Google reader I don´t know what happened to the fence. Off to investigate.

Lovely topper and the mono-chrome colour is gorgeous. I'm sure the fence will look awesome once it's finished and you have the awesome feeling that you did it yourself. :D

I love this card Toni :) I'm a firm believer in "less is more" so this is just my cup of tea (see what I did there? lol)
