Anyone for...

...coffee???

Ummm, I've been at it again...hug making that is LOL

Everyone seems to be making stuff at the moment so I thought I'd make the most of the few days I have left before I have to return to work (grumble, gripe - wishing for a big lottery win).

This time I did something a bit different. I decided to make a matching set...a hug for the mug & a hug for the pot.
Using some spring coloured random-dyed DK and 4mm needles I made another of the mug hugs with the square pattern on and attached some flower buttons and a couple of ladybugs. The hug for the pot was made using a very similar idea creating the squared pattern and maintaining a garter stitch border to make a rectangle the right size to wrap around the pot but the flowers & the ladybugs were attached randomly.

With everything looking so dull and grotty at the moment I thought it would be nice to have something a bit brighter and more cheerful for when I grab my next coffee. Hope you like............................

Lovely, springlike colours! With the snow making it's reappearance (boo!), those cheery, bright shades are very welcome!

What a great idea to make a matching set, and they're so very cute! Definitely look very bright and cheery on a drab winter day. Love the little ladybug buttons.
