Captain Jack Sparrow...

...well, not quite LOL

I showed you some clear stamps that I bought so I thought I would now show you those images coloured. I've been watching some video tutorials done by Bev Rochester and I thought that now I had my new Copic colours I would try some of her techniques mixed in with my own. This is what I ended up with...
Isn't he cute? He was so quick and easy to colour...everything just sort of came together. Bev tends to work "Dark to Light" whereas I work light to dark - I decided to stick with the way that I work. However, Bev does make more use of her blender pen than I have in the past so I thought I'd give it a go and was very pleased with the shading.
The 36 new Copic Ciao colours really do fill in some of the gaps that existed between some of the shades in the original 144 colours. I love the addition of some more stone shades of brown which I've used here on the hat & boots.
This cute little Miss just had to have some Aqua/Teal shades on her. I had a bit of a play on the skirt area as I only wanted a hint of the colour.
I just love the effect that the blender created on this little chaps trousers. They look quite worn - which was exactly the look I was aiming for.

It really didn't take very long to complete these - the images are a delight to colour and the extra shades in my Copic collection are super. Now I just have to think of how best to use these 'Young Rebels'.

Shiver me timbers and Yo Ho Ho & a bottle of rum.................

oh he's so cute. I'm a ProMarker fan, and like you tend to work light to dark, but maybe I'll give it a go.

Oh, they are adorable! The finish with the copic markers is amazing - you've made the stamps look as though they've been professionally watercoloured.
