...at Diecut Dreams Christmas Club Blog.
Well this is something I've never done before...entered a card challenge.
Normally the only time I enter challenges is when there is a cybercrop over on UKS so I'm quite nervous about this. However, I was visiting the lovely Lynne's blog and I thought the type of card to be used for the challenge would be ideal for my Christmas Tilda & Edwin that I shared with you a few posts ago.
The brief is that the card must be made using the tutorial provided, it has to be a Christmas card, it has to use a Tilda and there has to be lots of glitter & bling.
Well I followed the tutorial to make the card which has an acetate front to it. My Santa Edwin & Tilda with Fir seem well at home amid the stickles, glitter dot CS, red gems and red miri-card.
I used a piece of acetate to 'float' the sentiment between the background and the acetate front.
My photography is never the best in the world and tends to be even worse when there is sparkly stuff involved but I think you can see in this photo that there is quite a bit of glitter & bling.
Materials used: -
Smooth white CS to create the base card (290 weight)
Sandylion PP - Candy stripe
Red miri-card
White glitter dot CS
Tartan ribbon
Red flat back gems
Ice stickles
Clear acetate
Double sided tape
3D foam pads
Copic pens
Magnolia stamps - Tilda with Fir & Santa Edwin
Martha Stewart punches - doily border & doily trim
Woodware punches - scalloped ovals (blue & yellow sizes)
Nestie - large scalloped oval
I hope this meets the requirements of the challenge.......................
