Today has not been a...

...crafting day.

To start with the washing machine decided to throw a wobbly yesterday evening - making some really horrific noises so I was left with two loads of washing still to do. The bedding was not a problem as there is plenty in the cupboard but the other load contained - as my Nan would have said - all my nether garments and sorry, I draw the line at 'going commando'...

So as I was scheduled to take Mum out to the garden centre today, I took everything with me so that at least one load could be 'doing' whilst we were out...washing sorted.

The trip to the garden centre resulted in some new plants that I will have to find homes for - a couple of Osteospurnum (sp?) in the most lovely colours (one like antiqued paper and the other like a cross between terracotta & bronze), and a Pelargonium (sp?) with really pretty white frilly flowers with a pink blush to the centres - pleeeeeeeeeeease, you don't expect me to actually be able to spell these names. I thought I did quite well just remembering what they were LOL

On the way back Mum suggested we stopped off at a Harvester that we had passed so we could have some lunch.
The chicken was just delish...and the salad bar was beautifully fresh with a reasonable sellection.

I probably would have left it at that but Mum was looking at the sweet menu and the Rocky Horror sundae was just too much to resist...
The warm chocolate brownie and fudge sauce in the bottom, topped with Cornish ice cream, cream and choc/fudge chunks was yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy.

The weather here has not been great today. Very overcast (looked like we would get a downpour any moment), windy and quite chilly. So once home I was not feeling inclined to find homes for the new plants and it certainly wasn't suitable weather for pegging out washing.

What have I been doing? I've been blopping and would you believe it, the site that I found yesterday with the challenge that I've entered has decided that this will be the last challenge - was it something I said??????????? LOL

Never mind, they have a couple of other challenge blogs so I might check them out.

Back to work tomorrow and it is a 'full' week this week - no days off for crafting , Royal weddings or anything else - I obviously didn't plan that very well **rollseyes**. Hope you have all had a good weekend and that you have an interesting week to come.......................

That sundae looks HUGE... did you actually manage to eat it all.... although am sure if it was me I would have given it a good go.. or maybe it was just the angle of the picture..
I hope you find time this week to craft, and stay happy...
