Another Chrimbo card because...

...it's Christmas in July.

(and possibly because I wanted to enter some Magnolia challenges and I still have more Christmas Tildas than general ones - LOL)

Challenge #5 over on the "TOMIC" site wants an easel card and the "Totally Tilda" site wants to see Distressing for their challenge #26 - so this is what I made...
All the edges on this card are inked with a Ranger Distress Ink pad - Frayed Burlap. The backing PP is from the BoBunny "a Gift of Love" Christmas range.
Inspiration for the colours on my 'Jolly Tilda' came from the avatar of the blog I mentioned in my last post - The Crafty Elf (I know she is really into things Christmassy so I am looking forward to her starting her Christmas crafting).
I decided to keep away from blooms on this card but did use some of the lush crystal ribbon and lots of pearls. The sentiment is a simple hand-written "Joy" on some textured pale green CS and mounted on miri-card...this acts as the 'stopper' for the easel. I hope you like it.

The Christmas in July event over at Pinnacles was busy as always and Andy, Jo & Pauline had put together a fab selection of cards to inspire everyone. In addition, I bumped into lots of fellow crafters that I know from crops, lessens, and the web and it was great just having a chat and catching up with folk **waves to everyone**. I've have had a most enjoyable day so far...shopping...chatting...crafting...what could be better......................

What a lovely card - I think it looks just perfect without any blooms on it; the ribbon sets it off great.
