...well, I thought we might have missed the rain today.
It started off a bit chilly but by the time lunchtime arrived it was quite sunny and warm - warm enough to venture out without a jacket.
The rain hit at about 2.30pm and it certainly came down - even if it was only for about 20 mins.
So it would seem the old wive's tale is holding true; at least for the moment...................

We've had rain here every day since St Swithin's Day, but it's holding out so far today - it's looked like it could rain all day but it's stayed dry, so fingers crossed!
