One Layer...

...and something with legs.

Well that was the brief for challenge week 23 over at "Less is More" so I decided to dig out another of my John Byars nostalgia stamps.
I used a cream card blank and stamped directly onto it with Cocoa brown ink and just added a little bit of shading with a mocha coloured Marvy pen. The edge of the card has been inked with Frayed Burlap Distress ink as I thought is was in keeping with the image.
I really love these stamps I think the images are so beautiful and they really lend themselves to this monotone look or full on coloured.

Quite quick and simple................................

With a beautiful stamp like this, you don't need much else - and youve used it perfectly. The stamp really is lovely - really wistful and pretty.
