...Stanford Festival.
It will be taking place on Sunday so fingers crossed the weather will be kind.
This year they are having a WWII & 1940s theme to the event. There is a wedding dress shop in the town and they have a wonderful display of wedding photos from the period and lots of journalling telling the stories behind the photos - remember, clothing was rationed and many men and women spent most of their time in uniform.
I hope to get down to the town and take some photos tomorrow as I think it might be rather busy on the day.
The one thing that I'm not looking forward to is the open-air concert just across the road from me. It is always noisy, going on far too late and then we get the drunks causing damage as they eventually wend their way home. I hope there is a bit more control this year (I really don't want another broken fence).
All being well I'll share the pics I take with you all..................
