...with your Sunday?
Today ended up with boring stuff to do...you know the things I mean - washing, changing the beds - all the things that just mean; LIFE.
I had every good intention of getting over to Mum's fairly early but that went totally pear-shaped **rollseyes** I needed to check that the fence was still okay after it finally being un-wedged and slotted back into the concrete posts - it really needs something across the top to support the broken top bar but I haven't anything suitable at the moment.
The next thing on the list was to trim the grass (umm, weeds actually LOL) down the centre of the driveway as they were brushing on the underside of the car...well that was one of those jobs that you think will only take a few minutes - nah!!! - an hour later I was in panic mode; just where had the time gone.
Quick wash & change and I was just heading out the door as the phone rang - it was Mum wondering where I had got to...
One load of washing in and then Mum & I went off to the Harvester for a lovely chicken lunch followed by those very naughty ice-cream sundaes.
A wizz around ASDA and then back to sort out the final load of washing.
So not a lot done craftwise but I have caught up on some blog hopping and printed off the latest photos for my challenge notebook.
I think I'm pretty much up to date and have a few ideas rolling around the old brainbox for some of this week's challenges. I also managed to sit down and watch the final of "Popstar to Operastar" (which I really enjoyed).
Unfortunately, that's the weekend over and it is back to work tomorrow - more meetings this week **groan** and I'm sure British Rail will be its usual delight - NOT!
Hope you've had a good weekend..............................

OH Yes, I know just what you mean about LIFE!! Seems like there is always so much stuff needing to be do.. I try putting it off for as long as I can, but then it takes twice as long to catch up..Take care.. hugs, Linda
yes, but there is a sense of satisfaction about having acheived something, don't you think??
I have those weekends too...however was camping this weekend with my niece and my kids - they loved it (so did I) - just need some more sleep!! :)
That sounds like an extremely productive day, and a very satisfying one; puts me to shame as I did nothing useful whatsoever!

Oh bless you Toni, your weekend sounded like mine, being on the unwell side for most of it, I was lucky to get through the boring tasks of washing, ironing and cleaning. It meant when I sat down to 'craft' last night I had very little left in me! Hey ho - we can always look forward to next weekend can't we!
Lots of things to tick off your To DO list plus a lovely lunch sounds good. :)
We went to a museum and generally hopped around town. Best thing about the holidays is no cooking or washing to do. :D
