Two Christmas challenges have combined nicely to result in this card...
The "Winter Wonderland Challenge" blog has asked that things be given a little lift using either wet or dry embossing and "CHNC" want to see Stars for their challenge 29.
This pic is a bit fuzzy but you can make out the embossed circles that have been used to show off the litle stars.
The large star contains the sentiment and was hand embossed (on the Crafter's Companion Ultimate Pro) and cut out. It has been mounted on the card using 3D foam pads. The embossed panel is done with an embossing folder from the 'indentz' range - "Lines & Dots". All the card used is Smooth white 290 weight CS. I think the white & silver works rather well; don't you........................

Quite often it is the less cluttered, simple looking things that look most classy and elegant - and you're proving that! The background embossing with the stars is just so beautiful - a fantastic card!

Very clean and simple... I really like this.. and a star cutter...(claire add's yet another thing to the ever growing shopping list)
I think the peel off's really set it all off... sometimes they can ruin a card but in this case..not..
Oh the finger is getting a little better.. I managed two cards over the weekend.. I didn't slice that much off, but boy does it hurt.. I took a couple of pics.. I may have to do a post..
