Meet Christmas Ruby...

...the required element for Tuesday's challenge over at "Catch the Bug's" Christmas in July event.

I have to say, this is not the sort of image I normally go for but she is such fun and something a bit different for Christmas and better yet...she is a free digi image for folk as part of this week-long event.
I decided to go with pretty traditional colours for this one - Red & white with a touch of green.
All the colouring is done with Copic pens. Ruby is an 'older' lady so I thought she should have silver grey hair...
...but hey, look at those killer boots and the skimpy dress LOL - she is sooooooooooo the embarrassing Great Aunt who really should know better when it comes to dressing appropriately *giggle*
The card has been made from hammered white CS punched down the leading edge with my Martha Stewart Doily border punch. The inside has been lined with red leather effect metalic CS - this has also been used on the front with a punched edge to add interest. Some white loopy organza ribbon has been wrapped down the spine edge.

The panel that Ruby is printed on has been trimmed down and inked with red pigmant ink. This has then been mounted over a panel of PP from the Papermania "Home for Christmas" 6x6 paper stack. The sentiment was another that I won from Lynne Salmon.

So that's Christmas Ruby - hope you like her..........................
