Shimmer & Pearls...

...and guess what - I've gone for a Christmas card LOL

Challenge #4 over at "TOMIC" wants 'Shimmer & Pearls' along with a Magnolia image on this week's creations.

I'm a little bit 'last minute' with this one but I blame that on the PC probs I had earlier in the week - I seem to be a day behind on everything.
If there is a colour that I love other than Aqua/Teal at the moment it has to be this dusty blue (in my acrylic paints it is referred to as 'Soldier blue') and I have coloured a lot of my images using this shade recently. My 'Jolly Tilda' was stamped onto white CS and coloured in using Copics and then I cut her out using my new Go Kreate Concentric Tags #1 (I used the largest one in this set). This is my first set of Dies from this make and I was very happy with the way they cut - the embossing round the edge was very good too.
In keeping with the theme of the challenge I added a bit of Ice stickles to the fir on Tilda's hat and scattered a few tiny pearls. The tie at the top of the tag is more of that lovely shimmery crystal ribbon in just the perfect blue for this project.
A bit more of the ribbon across the card and a bow decorated with two pearl stick pins matches in with the tiny & medium pearls attached to the 'sprays' printed on the PP.

The card blank is a 6x6 smooth white CS and the blue PP is from a PaperMania 6x6 paper stack.

So that's the challenge completed and another Chrissy card to add to the collection. If you get a mo...do pop over to the challenge site to see what super pieces everyone else has produced.........................

Out of all the entries in this weeks TOMIC,yours is one of the ones that stands out to me. Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for that particular grey blue color, maybe it's because I love Christmas cards, maybe it's because I think that particular Tilda is adorable, or it might simply be because your card is gorgeous. I love how you've managed to use the patterned paper to its fullest and the setup is great!!
