White on White...

...for Christmas in August.

The folk over at "Winter Wonderland" want a 'White on White' card with just the image in colour and over at "Do it with Digis" Challenge #16 they want Christmas in August to contain a digi image or sentiment. I think you'll find that this card meets the requirements of both challenges but these pics will also show how poor my photography is LOL
The card blank for this card is a sheet of A4 smooth white CS folded in half to form a tent fold card. Layered onto this in the same CS are two embossed panels - a DoCraft embossing folder was used for the ornaments panel and the other panel was created using the Cuttlebug 'Divine swirls'.
The design on some of the ornament elements has been highlighted with some pearls.
Some punched fronds (Martha Stewart) are attached across the top of the devine swirl panel and then decorated with a row of slightly larger pearls.
The swirl panel also has some crystal ribbon wrapped around it and the sentiment was a digi one that I won from Lynne Salmon.
The image is 'Deacon' who was a Friday Freebie over at Catch the bug. I have coloured him using my Copic pens, as usual. He is quite a cutie so I could be colouring a few of him for my Christmas cards this year.

So there you go - hope you could get the idea despite my less than brill photos.............................

Toni, Deacon is darling! You've made yet another brilliant card and I'll have to check out those challenges. I do love how you always add such wonderful detail to your cards. I'm always afraid of overdoing it. TFS

White is really hard to photo - and hey - we can all see the result - it's gorgeous.

The white on white works brilliantly Toni, and those pearls are the perfect finishing touch!

I love this card, I also adore the fronds at the top - never heard of these but appreciate that it's from a Martha Stewart punch - is it difficult to achieve the effect?
