The Colours of...

...your Nation.

Over at the "Less is More" site the week 27 challenge is to use the colours of your nation to create a card. I did consider the colours of the German flag (Dad's family) as that would have been a bit different but in the end decided to stick with Red / White / Blue as it not only covered the Union Flag for Great Britain but it is also the colours of the French flag (Mum's ancestry).
I went for a simple sentiment, a few layered flowers and some buttons.
The sentiment is a digi from Sentiments4You and I edged it with a Copic pen in Strong Red.

Why not hop over to the challenge site and see if you can work out the nationalities of the entrants by the colours they have used..................................

Toni, what a great card and very different from your usual style! Super job! I can't imagine what it's like over there with all that upset going on, thinking of you and hoping it all ends quickly! :)

Love it Toni - I'd have taken the challenge literally and ended up with a Union Jack on their somewhere - however, your take is a lot prettier and more subtle!

A very striking card, and made without use of a union jack - well done!
